Inspired by a summer spent underwater, swimming off the south coast of Cornwall and developing a relationship with the abundant garden beneath the waves, this painting shares the experience of the graceful and silent dance of seaweed.

As they say, change is the only constant, and paintings about water are definitely one way to explore that!

This painting is called Sea Change, which, according to my old school tree book Pocket Oxford dictionary is a ‘notable or unexpected transformation’. Which is certainly something the sea has brought to my life, in all sorts of ways.
