Two Paintings: Birds in Flight

I was doing Tai Chi in the garden last summer and the swallows came swooping and diving around me; it was completely magical and I couldn't stop laughing from wonder and delight.

Something about birds in flight, that sense of 'one mind', and the visceral rush as you feel the air change when they pass by is just addictive to me. Trying to express that feeling will easily take a lifetime.

These two - seen here happily adorning a ledge in my kitchen - are called 'Feels like Freedom' {left} and 'En Route' {right}. They can be purchased separately or together.
