Sea Flowers: A collection in progress

Paper Summer has turned into Paper Autumn!

I’m still in love with working on paper - the speed it forces/allows/enables me to work at is peeling back layers of overthinking to a lighter, more pared back expression, which is something I’ve been wanting for a long time.

I now have three collections on paper, all related, but each with their own distinctive ‘flavour’.

It’s been so fun and freeing to get to explore this way - and without the catalyst of the exhibition at The Byre Gallery in November I wouldn’t have devoted the summer to working on paper.

I’ll be doing a Studio Sale at some point with a selection of works from the Paper Summer project; if you’d like to get priority access to that, sign up for Studio Notes below and I’ll send you my Relaxed Guide to Collecting Art.
