The Best of Both Worlds
One of the highlights of the year for me is being part of this new exhibition at the Byre Gallery.
I have long admired the thoughtful curation and gorgeous styling of Elaine Dye, who owns and runs the Byre, so it’s a real delight to have work showing in her gallery over in east Cornwall.
Elaine has chosen a range of paintings, sculptures, and jewellery that complement each other in soft palettes and organic shapes.
I hugely enjoy her Instagram photos from the gallery - she has a way of styling pieces together and photographing them with the light cast just so, that shows off each at its best.
I have eight paintings in the exhibition, three of which haven’t been seen before. Here’s one of them:
The exhibition runs from July 24th - September 12th 2021, and can be seen both online and in the gallery itself. I highly recommend a visit if you can - the setting is classic coastal Cornwall and the gallery a real gem.
