Process of a painting: Only Now

I filmed the beginnings of this painting to show a little of how a painting often starts. Beneath the video is the finished piece.

I used acrylics of varying consistencies, and liquid pencil. I love that with a limited palette and some interesting contrasts I can recreate the feel of swimming, as it is for me.
